Week 05 (03/03/2025) :

3    WEEKLY PROGRESS

3.1    Infographic Poster Reference

Week 03 (18/02/2025)

I looked around on Google to find some posters. After a while, I found this poster about Covid-19. I showed Mr Shamsul and after explaining my choice, he approved it.

3.2    Sketch

Week 03 (18/02/2025)

I looked around for some infographic poster layout references. After that, I began making a few sketches of my ideas.

Sketch 1

Sketch 2

Sketch 3

Sketch 5

3.3    Illustrating

Week 03 (19/02/2025)

I started by transfering the sketch to Adobe Photoshop. I will be using this software to make my infographic poster.

I added the drawings that I made on Adobe Illustrator. I arranged them according to the sketch.

I started with the title first.

I added the grid lines to help make sure that all my texts are aligned perfectly. After that, I decided that I wanted to show my progress in class first before finishing the whole poster.

Week 04 (25/02/2025)

We had a feedback session today. I decided to come up with a new idea after my first idea was rejected by Mr Shamsul.

Week 04 (25/02/2025)

I finally finished the whole poster. My next task is to do a simple loop animation.

3.4    Animating

I planned on animating the virus images in the background. I am animating this in Adobe Photoshop.

Week 05 (04/03/2025)

After a feedback session, I did a little bit of editing on the poster. I changed the font of the text to make it more readable.

Then, I switched to animating on Adobe After Effects as I am more skilled in using that software. I saved all items as transparent and imported them to After Effects.

After I finished animating, I exported the final video and then uploaded it on Youtube.

4    FINAL SUBMISSION

4.1    Infographic Poster

4.2    Minimal Animated Infographic

5    FEEDBACK

Week 04 (25/02/2025) :
There is no alignment or elements and principles of design used here
The font of the title looks so childish and unserious
The triangles looked weird and out of place

Week 05 (04/03/2025) :
Change the font of the title
The colour choice is good
Layout is plain but considered ok

6    REFLECTION

After doing this project, I managed to see a lot of infographic posters and see different layouts. Some of them use the same layout but are still distinguishable from each other. By doing this project, I have learned how to create an interesting and unique infographic poster.
