Week 7 (08/11/2024)

Today's class is all about briefing for Task 2 (Visual Design). After class, I finished up the first task and prepared it for submission. 

After submitting Task 1, I started working on Task 2. I chose 2 designs which are comic style and children's storybook style. I made a moodboard to gather my ideas. 


Week 9 (22/11/2024)

Since last week was ILW, I had extra time to plan my Task 2. All this week, I watched a few Upin & Ipin episodes to find inspiration. I managed to create my first front and back cover page and I got to design a little bit of the inside pages. 


However, Dr Hayati commented a bit on my work in class. Based on her feedback, I plan on changing my works a little bit.  

Week 10 (29/11/2024)

I couldn't change anything on my frist cover page. So, I dedcied to start all over again and it was a great decision. I came up with a new cover design when I saw the opening scene for Upin & Ipin Season 5. After drawing the cover page, I went ahead and added the title. I couldn't decide which font to use, so I made a few choices and showed it to Dr Hayati in class. She chose either number 2 or 5.

I also changed my chapter 1 design and managed to design until chapter 5. We were told that next week (Week 11), Dr Hayati won't be available for our class as she would be travelling overseas. So, our next class would be held on Wednesday in Week 12. 

Week 12  (13/12/2024)

This is the submission week for task 2. Since last week, I spent a lot of time working on my book. By Friday, I managed to finish designing until Chapter 6. In class, Dr Hayati only gave a little bit of feedback. After class, I began fixing my work based on the feedbacks.
