2 LECTURE
For the first exercise, we have to choose any object and draw it in different perpectives. I chose to draw a small squishy toy. I drew it from four angles which are 3/4, top, front and back.

Exercises
1 INSTRUCTIONS
Week 1 (25/09/2024) :
Get a drawing tablet as soon as possible
Can practice using Krita, Procreate etc but in class, we'll use Photoshop
Practice your drawing - line weight (sketch paper & digital)
Apply the line weights by choosing a subject matter (man-made or organic)
Create 3 character designs (can have mixed features)
Week 2 (02/10/2024) :
Go to Teams and check out the anatomy references in the "Resources" file
Exercise 1: choose model/reference (3 each for both male and female) and draw it using the Lego pieces method
Exercise 2: skeletal studies. Draw a skull from all angles (front, side, 3/4, back, top, bottom). Must use reference!
Week 3 (09/10/2024) :
This week focuses on sculpting in Zbrush
Live tutorial in class is too fast. Can't keep up. Send help
Can watch the class recording on Teams
The exercise is to create a head sculpture of any kind (doesn't need to be perfect)
Week 4 (16/10/2024) :
For task 1 (character modelling), you have 2 choices; first, choose one character that you like, then tweak the design. Stylise it and make it your own character. Second, create a whole new character
Week 5 (23/10/2024) :
The chest part is a bit difficult, so practice doing that part
Look at the sculpture from different views when sculpting
3 EXERCISE
3.1 Perspective
At first, we were told to create a 3D sculpture of anything that we want. I created a baby dragon from scratch.
We moved onto the next exercise. We have to sculpt the whole body in Zbrush. So far, this is what we have learned this week.
