Week 09 (22/11/2024) :



3    SPLASH ART

3.1    Moodboard

I chose to do a combination of modern and traditional medicine theme. I looked for a lot of background references and found background tht I really like. So, I would use that as the main inspiration and combine it with my own ideas. 


3.2    Silhouette

After choosing my theme, I continued doing the silhouette to draft out my ideas. 


After a brief confultation with Ms Ayunie through MS Teams, I got some feedback on how to improve my final splash art sketch. She told me to combine sketch number 1 and 5. 



4    COLOURS

I began colouring the background. I used reference from Guilty Gear's background in the game for the main background and added some other elements that matched my character. 


Ms Ayunie told me to fix the coloured liquid floating in the background. My first idea was to make it look like syrup medicine flowing around, but right now, it looks like paint blobs. The arch in the back should be much bigger too.
