1 INSTRUCTIONS
2 LECTURE
Week 1 (26/09/2024) :
Softwares that can be used to draw are photoshop, Krita, Procreate etc
We have to design three types of vehicles (land, water, air)
Must have a good understanding of perspective
Find one subject matter and draw it (preferably toy vehicles)
Find any utensils and draw it
Take inspiration from any subject matter and create a vehicle based on it
Week 2 (03/10/2024) :
Start working on the first exercise which is Fundamentals of Vehicle Design
Draw 3 vehicles (land, water and air), then deconstruct them
All info regarding the assignments are posted in Teams
Week 3 (10/10/2024) :
The first sketch is supposed to have more ideas, not just one final sketch
When drawing, must be confident. Don't do scratches. Do single thin stroke
Study the reference first before moving on to details
Start with 3D boxes to understand the perspective
Week 4 (17/10/2024) :
Pick 1 type of vehicle (air, land or water)
Expand the idea by doing silhouette
Do multiple silhouettes
Must be logical
Do exterior and interior
3 EXERCISE
3.1 Drawing Exercise
Week 1 (26/09/2024)
Our first exercise requires us to draw a toy vehicle.
Week 2 (03/10/2024)
Last week, we were given a briefing about our final project which is to design a vehicle.
I started off with a bumblebee helicopter.
Next, I designed a cheetah racing bike.
Finally, I designed a turtle cruiser.
3.3 Vehicle Perspective
Week 3 (10/10/2024)
This week, we learned to draw vehicles from various perspectives. After that, we had to choose 1 type of vehicle and draw it from minimun 3 different angles.
3.4 Vehicle Exterior and Interior
Week 4 (17/10/2024)
After choosing 1 type of vehicle from our initial ideas, we have to expand the sketch by drawing the vehicle's silhouettes.
